An unintended consequence of the soon-to-be-effective GDPR body of regulations on user data and privacy seems to be an increased demand for people with a very unique skill set. In particular, demand is for people with the Goldilocks mix of expertise in international law and computer science (and in particular cybersecurity). This is a reality for companies operating across Europe, and Moodle HQ is no exception. Below are a few available positions.
Data Privacy Officer. Moodle HQ, Barcelona
Moodle HQ seeks a lawyer with two years of experience or a professional with three-years’ experience who is well-versed in privacy and European legislation with a deep understanding of GDPR in order to help ensure the organization complies with continental regulation and overseas agreements. The candidate will inform the Moodle HQ team, offer support to external stakeholders, and perform audits and risk assessments regularly.
Group eLearning Developer – Designer. Phoenix Medical, Runcorn, UK
