Mumbai’s Sahara Hotel will host the EdTech and Open Source communities from the largest Higher Ed market in the world, as well as its fast-growing counterparts in primary and corporate learning, for the first ever Moot in the country: MoodleMoot India 2017.
Once again, Moodle HQ’s Martin Dougiamas will share the latest updates to his Moodle road map to open the event. Joining him from Moodle HQ are Solange Lalonde and Tom Murdock, from Moodle’s new Education Team, who will discuss the Social Efficiency approach, part of the increasingly popular Curriculum Theory framework.
Dougiamas will coordinate two sessions: an “Envisioning” and a “Community Panel” that seems to be becoming the way to top the academic program. Tuesday evening, though, is reserved for a “Moodle Party.”
15-minute presentations will take place throughout Monday and Tuesday. A call for presentations and posters is currently open, running until Monday, November 6th. See presentation guidelines here, read submission instructions here, and visit the submission page here.
“Early bird” rates for the event are available until October 27th, at ₹4,100 (~$ 64 USD) + fees. The registration fee includes access to the full 2-day program, lunch and snacks, a pass to the Moodle Party, and a #MootIN17 T-Shirt! The regular registration deadline is Monday, December 4th.
