MoodleNews’ Joe Thibault Shares His MUA Committee Candidacy, Others Welcome

MoodleNews founder and active member of the Steering Committee of the Moodle Users Association for the 2017-2018 year, Joseph Thibault, would like to share his candidacy platform for the upcoming election of the Committee members:

WIRIS

As a member since January 2016 and as a committee member I have worked to ensure that the goals of the MUA have been met. If re-elected to the committee its my hope to focus on:

  • ensuring that communication improves between the committee and membership
  • that MUA presence at Moots around the world is felt
  • to promote project proposal quality by working with proposing members
  • grow membership and increase the overall funding pool available.

As the founder of Moodlenews.com I have a long track record of supporting Moodle and remain invested in this great community.

Other candidates interested in sharing their own platforms with the MoodleNews readership should consider this an open invitation. Reach out using the form on the moodlenews.com/contact page.

The voting season for the 10-member Committee is currently open and closes on the Australian evening of Sunday, October 1st. Members can distribute their available votes (dependent on their level) as they please. The voting process is anonymous.
