The main highlight of this release is the never-before-seen compatibility of 100% of the standard functionality of the Moodle standard application on desktop computers. The Moodle Workshop was one of the few that were unavailable through apps, until now.
Moodle Mobile and Desktop do support some plugins already, the latest of which is PayPal enrollment. Furthermore, developers for Moodle 3.1 and newer can enable plugin compatibility on mobile using Moodle Mobile (and Desktop) Remote Add-ons.
