What it contains?
The Learn Moodle Basics MOOC is course designed for anybody who wants to use the Moodle learning platform for teaching. The best way to learn Moodle features is to be teaching a real course, to be open to new ideas for what you want to do and then look for solutions to each problem. This MOOC gives you the perfect blend of resources and community interaction which is ideal for professional development.
How much is the fee?
The Four week course is provided free of cost. All the course videos will be available on Moodle’s YouTube channel. During the Learn Moodle Basics course, you will learn how to use the basics of Moodle as a course teacher. You do not learn site administration, hosting or any technical issues.
What I will get out of it?
You will take part in the course as a student. You will also be able to ask a practice course where you will have a teacher role and can try activities as you learn about them.
If you complete all the activities and meet all the workshop deadlines, you will receive a completer badge and certificate of completion. If you do not meet the workshop deadlines but complete the other activities, you will receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the course.
How much time is required?
The course is distributed in 4 weeks and you may need to spend maximum 3-4 hours a week. The course outline is as follows:

To signup for the next edition of Learn Moodle Basics MOOC, click here to register. In the last edition of the MOOC, there were more than 6k participants, 1750 got the participants badge and 802 went on to get the completion certificate and badge.
The next edition of the MOOC will run on Moodle 3.4, which is due to be released in Second week of November. If you are an experienced Moodler, you can take part in the course to guide new Moodle users.
