Mootivated is the next-gen mobile gamification platform for Moodle. In our previous article, we have covered the major features of Mootivated platform which was under development. It adds a layer of gamification on top of Moodle site with virtual store and rewards for students. It is connected to Moodle through a plugin which allows you to reward student/employee effort for learning in Moodle.
Recently, Mootivated team have released another gamification app for corporates – MoTrain. MoTrain is the Mobile Gamification for corporate training and you can use it to gamify your Moodle or Totara sites.

Recently, Mootivated plugins are released in the Moodle plugins directory. The plugins are compatible with Moodle 2.7 version onwards. You can download the respective plugins from the below links:

The Mootivated plugin allows the moodle admins to manage the rewards and monitor student behavior through the dashboard. The students on your moodle site can have an overview of their progress and the virtual rewards they have unlocked through the Mootivated mobile app. Students can use the virtual rewards to customize the avatars by buying the features.
Mootivated/Motrain is a product by group of high school teachers in Chilliwack B.C., Canada, with a motive to automatically reward the effort students make at learning in Moodle.
Mootivated can be a good solution for your Digital Art students who can develop their skills by creating avatar parts for your school and upload them to the app on dashboard.
