Moodle released minor point versions for all the supported core Moodle versions today. The new minor point releases include Moodle 3.3.1, 3.2.4 and 3.1.7. Minor point versions are the usual releases of Moodle core which include security fixes and improvements without any major feature upgrades.
You can download the new minor point releases of Moodle through the regular download channel ( or through the GitHub page of the Moodle project. The new versions includes a long list of bug fixes, performance improvements and polishing including fixed security issues.
Now, Moodle is supporting only three branches i.e Moodle 3.1, 3.2 & 3.3. The details of the changes in new releases are mentioned in the release notes here:

Major highlights for the Moodle 3.3 branch are:

  • MDL-58136 – Show only “in progress” courses in the My courses list in Boost flat navigation
  • MDL-56046 – Fixed bug when downloading Quiz statistics report and other multiple-sheet reports
  • MDL-58646, MDL-59122 – Number of performance improvements in Boost cache rebuilding
  • MDL-58310, MDL-59312, MDL-58103 – Correctly display AJAX errors and ignore interrupted requests caused by page unload (occasional “undefined” popup)
  • MDL-44961 – When restoring course with rolling start date never change log dates

It is advised to upgrade your Moodle sites on priority basis after proper testing. The details of the security issues will be releases after one week’s time so you can safely update to the latest version.
