Stash block is gaining a lot of popularity as the latest gamification tool in Moodle course. You can also restrict access to course activities via items to be obtained in a student’s stash using the Stash availability plugin.
Now, Stash developers – Adrian Greeve and Frédéric Massart came up with another filter plugin “Stash Filter” which will make the life of teachers easy. Now by using the Stash filter plugin, the teachers can easily place the stash items using shortcodes.
Add Stash items using the new Stash Filter plugin #MoodlepluginsThe advantages of using the Stash filter plugin are:

Post Pages - Post Inline - WIRIS
  • Teachers do not have to switch to the HTML view of their editors
  • The shortcode is always visible when editing, unlike the Javascript snippet
  • Unlike the Javascript snippet, the shortcode will gracefully support newer versions
  • The snippet will (safely) make it through some security limitations

You can download the Stash filter plugin from the Moodle plugins database here. You can check out all plugins within Stash plugin set here. The plugins are compatible with Moodle 2.9 version onwards.
