moodle user association first development cycle

It seems like it was only yesterday Joe was breaking the news about the Moodle User Association by simply paying attention to what the community was talking about. And, the MUA was only launched a few months ago to break ground and pave a new path for Moodlers the world round to contribute their voice to the development of the ecosystem.

However, time waits for no one and the MUA has recently announced the first official selection from the first official development cycle – “My Course – Dashboard.” In short, as described in the project development proposal:

The main purpose of the Course Overview block would be to give a better overview on what is going on in a course, without students/teachers having to go to the course.

This new block will create a space on the Dashboard where teachers, students and admins can quickly find:

  1. Course status, activities and resources
  2. A progress overview for teachers
  3. A summary of activities that still need to be graded (for teachers)
  4. Display of progress in the course or activity (for students)

Exciting times! Stay tuned for updates on this new block and where the new development cycle will take us.
