Quizzes in Moodle can be made to do almost anything under the sun through either configuration of the standard settings or by extending the module through addons. Two recent contributions to Moodle.org make available the ability to mark both quizzes with Deferred Feedback and Adaptive Mode (when students can reanswer questions while the quiz is open) as “All or nothing” meaning that no partial credit will be given for those types that customarily do provide partial credit to students.
Both plugins were developed and contributed by Daniel Thies.
If you’d like a more binary approach to your item delivery check both of the addons in the Plugin Database.
