Moodlerooms, led by Kris Stokking’s effort at Moodle.org, recently released released updates to three of the companies contributed plugins: Folder View, Advanced Forum and the Checklist.
These popular modules are now available for up to Moodle 2.6.
- Folder View: similar to collapsed topics, Folder View is a course format with a folder like structure rather than topic based approach. Available here: https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=format_folderview
- Advanced Forum: this mod enhances Moodle’s forum activity through more flexible options for sorting messages, reading, responding and grading. Available at https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=mod_hsuforum
- Checklist: a popular module for those interested in providing a completion gauge to students, the checklist module “provides teachers with a simple way to assign points to a set of criteria for grading” https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=gradingform_checklist
Each is available to download from the Moodle.org plugin repository: https://moodle.org/plugins/index.php
Just to clarify, the update listed above is for the ‘checklist grading method’, not for my ‘checklist module’ (it is unfortunate that Moodlerooms chose to use such a similar name as an existing set of related plugins, but as ‘checklist’ is a fairly common term, it is not unexpected).
My own checklist module has just been updated to be fully compatible with Moodle 2.7 (with a new ‘toggle all’ feature from Simon Bertoli)
