The Baltimore MoodleMoot is tomorrow and is taking place practically in my back yard. The event will be held on The Loyola Maryland University campus off of North Charles in North Baltimore and features two full days of presentations, keynotes and panels.
Tuesday 7/23 along with 100s of attendees I’ll be catching as many Moodle sessions as possible and then reprising my the Community Funding Moodle Development presentation (an ongoing experiment) that I gave this year during the iMoot. Though this will not be the same presentation as the landscape has changed a bit even in the few short months since the iMoot.
On Wednesday 7/24 I’ll be sitting on a panel with several others from the Moodle community talking about the future of eLearning on a Panel titled “The LMS of Tomorrow: What does the Future Hold?“.
This is my first Moot since the Austin Moot back in August 2010 and I am very excited. These are awesome events, I always leave reeling by all of the incredible things that other organizations are doing with Moodle, from the very cutting edge to the measured research driven initiatives and unorthodox implementations/uses. I’m excited and looking forward to it.
I won’t necessarily be live-blogging but I do hope to use the next few days to reflect on the great sessions available. Follow along here, or if you’re at the Moot come find me and say hi!
