This July 10 – 12th will be the 3rd Mountain Moodle Moot in Helena, Montana, USA: http://www.mountainmoot.com/.
This year’s Moot will be held at Carroll College, nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. The event will have plenty of opportunity to socialize with other Moodlers and to take in some of the sites of the Northwestern US.
Why come to this Moot? Community would be the key. It is a large enough Moot to get a great variety of people (last year we had over 120 folks from 14 US states and 4 countries) but small enough that you can gather over food and drinks to really gain some great insights from people using Moodle on a day to day basis. Oh, and did I mention that we have some of the biggest names in Moodle coming, folks like Anthony Borrow, Mary Cooch and more.
The conference will end on Friday at Noon giving you plenty of time to check out the surrounding outdoor adventures that we love up here in the North. If it is world-class fishing on the Missouri river, hiking in the Elkhorn mountains surrounding Helena, boating on Canyon Ferry, Horseback riding in the Lewis & Clark National Forest or taking a short drive to Yellowstone or Glacier National Park, Helena has a lot to offer.
This is a great chance to travel to Montana and learn about Moodle as well.
Registration is only $110 USD for a limited time (register here: http://www.mountainmoot.com/registration.html); the call for presentations is open as well.
If you plan to attend consider presenting: http://www.mountainmoot.com/proposals.html.
