If you’re interested in helping a student learn the ins and outs of Moodle development, or you’re a student seeking to work on an open source PHP project that helps students and educators world wide and you’re interested in getting paid to do so (stipends are posted at $5000 per student) this is a great chance to contribute to the open source community (as a bonus, mentor organizations like Moodle HQ will get $500 per student who successfully complete their projects).

  1. I missed to submit a proposal for moodle in Gsoc because of my college exams. Can i still get a project and work with moodle.

  2. projects yes, I would check at Moodle.org there are a lot of great discussions about projects to work on or work available on the job board. Compensation is harder since the stipend was one of the features of the GSOC application process.
