In volume two of The Lord of The Rings: “The Two Towers”, events happen involving Ents. Huge, wise, ancient creatures that look after and manage the trees in the ancient forest of Fangorn. At one point, all of the Ents gather for a meeting, and this is called the Ent Moot. Moot is an Old English or Anglo-Saxon word meaning a meeting or gathering. [link]
