Just in time for the holidays there’s a very special event coming up featuring two of the foremost Moodlers: Martin Dougiamas and Tomaz Lasic. The event, a showcase of the Mt. Orange School, will feature this working Moodle 2.0 demonstration site with commentary and Q&A with Martin and Tomaz.
According to Tomaz’s original note [link],
‘Mt Orange’ is a fictional school Moodle site, pre-populated with realistic users, courses, and examples where you can explore, workshop and play around with Moodle (2.0) in various roles.
What you see now is a start. We hope that ‘Mt Orange’ grows further as a high-quality technological AND pedagogical resource for educators using Moodle in primary, secondary and tertiary settings.
It’s sure to be a great primer in the changes to Moodle 2.0 as can be seen in a live working site. If you’re interested and want to join the conversation or even volunteer to showcase a course, register your interest at the official discussion thread at http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=7859.
See you there!
