Today, MoodleNews announced the acquisition of The combination of the two sites will create the most comprehensive independent source of information, news and resources related to the Moodle learning management system (LMS).

MoodleWorld was created in 2014 as a passion project of Jaswinder Singh. Mr. Singh saw MoodleWorld as resource that would help keep teachers and Moodle enthusiasts updated about the Moodle LMS and the practice of using technology as an enabler for improved learner outcomes. The site’s useful and accessible content helped to rapidly grow a loyal following. The efforts of MoodleWorld were also instrumental in bringing to life the 1st Moodle Moot gathering in India in 2016. Mr. Singh will continue to write about the Moodle technology and practice as a key member of the MoodleNews team.
