A post on the Moodle Forum by Moodle HQ Product Manager Sander Bangma announces the availability of Moodle 3.4.1, 3.3.4, 3.2.7, and 3.1.10 for download, installation, and upgrade.
Interoperability and portability are the central work areas in the two Moodle versions in active development. Both Moodle 3.4.1 and 3.3.4 feature improvements in LTI backup and restore functionality and LDAP authentication. Other minor related upgrades include expansion of external authentication (via OAuth 2) options, enhanced IMS Common Cartridge importing, and an LTI icon fix.
General improvements for both systems also cover Multiple Choice, Folders and Files Repository, Quiz, Assignments, and Lessons.
Moodle 3.2.7 brings four key security upgrades, three of which make up the upgrades in Moodle 3.1.10 LTS. As a Long Term Support version, security upgrades for Moodle 3.1 are scheduled for June 2019. Contrast this with Moodle 3.2, whose last update ever is the next one.
MoodleCloud sites are expected to upgrade to Moodle 3.4.1 in the coming days.
One more date for minor releases is scheduled for March, which will continue to update the same four versions of Moodle, ahead of Moodle 3.5.
