The German Moodle community has chosen Mannheim as the host for MoodleMoot Germany 2017. The innovators of today, including Daimler, IBM, Unilever and Siemens, are headquartered here, one of the “Most Inventive Cities”, a “World of Tomorrow” representative, member of the “Creative City Network”, first “Smart City” in the country and UNESCO’s City of Music.
MoodleMoot Germany 2017, or “Moodle Mahara Moot Meets Mobile Learning in Mannheim” for short, will focus around six topics:
Individual support and cooperative learning
Digital school development with Moodle
Data, adaptive learning, analytics and data protection.
People interested to apply as presenters are welcome to choose one of the topics, which should be considered as input-welcome drafts at this point. The presentation format can be Lecture (30-50 minutes), Workshop, Computer lab (Workshop with computers), and Arbeitskreis/Projekttreffen. (I think it means “work group project”.) They can be submitted in English as well as in German.
No submission deadlines are available at this time.
MoodleMoot Germany 2017 will take place at the University of Mannheim, starting with a pre-conference Workshop on Wednesday, June 21st and the Moot taking place June 22nd and 23rd. Participation fee is set at €100.
Find out more, and submit your presentation at moodlemoot.moodle.de (in German). An automated English translation is available here. Or follow #MootDE17.
Will Mannheim become Germany’s cultural epicenter and governing body of Moodle?
