As an international community, language learning plays an important role in bridging the many faces of the Moodleverse. A quick search on hub.moodle.org with second language-related keywords shows the amount of content available for eager learners, as well as for educators looking to up the ante in their foreign language teaching.

The availability, however, of not so popular languages, tends to be weaker than one would hope. Something not exclusive to Moodle, of course. Which makes this “Thai to English” course all the more interesting.

A simple, yet entertaining game will let you match drawings with their corresponding word.

The course features 15 picture-based activities.

Credits for this contribution goes to Chaichan Suwanampar, an English as a Second Language teacher. Besides this course, which you can make as your own in full, he provides free language education at eng4us.com/m123.

Download the “Thai to English vocab quiz” course into your Moodle site for free, from hub.moodle.org.

And stay in the loop on any new Open licensed educational offerings from the Moodle OER at @moodlenet.
