EdTechPosium, or the event formerly known as MoodlePosium, has expanded the reach of topics it can cover, but it maintains the quality and passion for self-improvement in teaching for which it’s known.
In 2016, the event was defined by the question, “What is your teaching resolution?” It permeated through keynotes, talks, and networking events. This year, the theme is “Fitting the tech to the teaching.” A call for presentations, open until next Saturday, September 16th, proposes ideas such as:
- Embracing emerging technologies to revitalize classic approaches
- Strategies to deal with large cohorts, blended modes, and gamification
- Work-integrated learning, virtual reality, and analytics.
Presentations cannot exceed 40 minutes, including time for questions. All proposals must be within the 200-word limit. Find out more here.
Early bird registration starts at $320 AUD (Approximately $250 USD) and is available until Friday, September 29th. It covers lunch and two daily teas. Tickets to the networking dinner on Monday night sold separately.
EdTechPosium 2017 will take place Monday, October 30th, and the following Tuesday. For more about the event, program, registration, and fees visit edtechposium.net.au.
