The Toronto and possibly the northernmost Moodle event is announcing the wide variety of attendance options, either on York University or online using BigBlueButton.
MoodleMoot Canada will take place February 21th to 24th, 2018.
An informal get together at Novotel Toronto Vaughan (official MoodleMoot hotel, offering special rates to attendees) the night before will open the three days, which will start with a series of pre-conference workshops. The conferences will revolve around “Personalized Learning for All,” and will be sorted according to “Interest Groups.”
Keynote speakers will include Martin Dougiamas and Stephen Downes, author of “Toward Personal Learning: Reclaiming a role for humanity in a world of commercialism and automation,” “Connectivism and Connective Knowledge: Essays on meaning and learning networks,” “Free Learning: Essays on open educational resources and copyright” and half a dozen more.
