First of all, I would like to apologize all my beloved readers as I couldn’t post any updates about Moodle since last so many days. When whole world was celebrating the Christmas and new year holidays, I was busy with my dad’s funeral who lost the battle to liver cirrhosis on 30th Dec 2016.
*** You will remain the best dad in whole world. ***
Moodle project has started the new year with a small gift for all Moodle users around the globe by releasing the minor point release for the stable branches. The new minor point release versions includes the updates for the currently supported branches (Moodle 3.1 & 3.2) and security only supported branches (3.0 and 2.7).
The new released version doesn’t contains any new features or improvements, however includes new fixes and improvements along with addressing security fixes. The security support for Moodle 2.7 and Moodle 3.0 branches will end by May 2017 with the release of Moodle 3.3. Check out the release calendar below for more details about the release cycle of Moodle.
