Preparations for MoodleMoot Canada are officially in the words. The event will embrace Moodlers from all over the world from February 21-24, 2018. Taking place every two years, MoodleMoot Canada and is probably the most northern event of its kind.
Even though it’s nearly a year away, the organizing committee, made of York University, its Glendon College federated campus, and Moodle Partner Open2Know staff, has already been busy planning. The event will take place on York’s Toronto campus.
MoodleMoot Canada’s 2018 theme is “Mass Personalized Learning with Moodle or… (Let’s Keep Moodle Personal!)”
While guests and speakers are still being confirmed, at least one prominent guest has already RSVP’d: Martin Dougiamas, Moodle CEO & Founder.
The official schedule is also still in the making, but it is already envisioned that the first day will cover hands-on sessions, probably through specialty workshops, while Thursday and Friday will see the plenary conference sessions.
“Super Early Bird” attendance fees are already available for $389 CAD. The cost for students is $189 and groups of 8 or more can purchase tickets at $339 each. Online attendance fees are also available starting at $104 for students. The “Super Early Bird” rates are valid until June 30th.
