In line with its push towards increased prominence in the community and the future of Moodle technology, the Moodle Users Association (MUA) is increasing its channels of communication for members. These new lines are themselves a result of listening to requests by its members.
Starting this June, MUA will begin holding “town halls.” For each event, there will be at least one representative of the Management Committee and a representative from Moodle HQ. They will share news on current initiatives, with the current Project Development Lifecycle arguably being the most interesting of all. It will also provide a space for members to voice their opinions and suggestions, or ask questions to the Moodle leaders.
For June, two dates have been announced:
- Tuesday, June 6th, at 08:00 UTC, hosted by Steve Powell, Chair of MUA since last October.
- Tuesday, June 13th at 15:00 UTC, hosted by Emma Richardson, MUA Vice-Chair.
So save the date! MUA is eager to get your feedback about this and other outreach initiatives. Future dates for the rest of the year are expected soon, as well as spaces for the Association in upcoming MoodleMoots worldwide.
To join the MUA town halls, you must be a MUA.
