As we have come to expect, on the heels of every minor or “second point” update of Moodle, the Collaborative Liberal Arts Moodle Project (CLAMP) revises their LAEs and adjusts them to conform with the latest versions. It takes a little longer than usual to get an update to the major releases, such as the just-launched Moodle 3.4.

The Moodle LAE releases, with fixes and special customizations of Moodle, are the most important in CLAMP’s annual schedule, also encompassing online and face-to-face meetings. Their Winter and Summer “Moodle Hack/Doc Fests” are also worth mentioning. The purpose of CLAMP’s activities, and the Consortium itself, is to promote the use of Moodle for liberal arts education globally, including at the more than a dozen liberal arts colleges that form CLAMP in the US.

No new updates to LAE’s features are announced. A Moodle LAE 3.4 is expected to be released along with the upcoming Winter Hack/Doc Fest, next January at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
