Before we jump into this month’s openings, I thought it would be interesting to keep track of the technologies requested or mentioned in the candidate profiles. We will keep track of them in upcoming Moodle job market check-ins.

A long-running ad details Moodle’s mission and requirements for positions that can be based in Perth or Barcelona. There is a requirement for at least 3 years of programming experience in large development environments. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to open technologies and community engagement.
Sales and Marketing Associate for Enlightenment Learning.
Another position available is a telecommuting or remote position with sales of learning products as the main responsibility. This is primarily a US search, but candidates from other countries will be considered.
Arup has a contract-based position, initially until March, for plugin development and support. The position is in London and requires weekly face-to-face meetings. Arup is an independent web and professional services agency.

A French-English full-time position based in Montpellier is available for development and maintenance of a Moodle site and the specification of project requirements, including SCORM packages. It also involves training activities.
Moodle Web Developer for the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP)
The family doctors professional membership body is looking for a full-time developer for 6 months with “potential opportunity for permanent role thereafter.” Based in London, the position involves developing a Moodle site in support of the Senior Web Developer. Git, APIs, and Composer skills are “advantageous.”

A telecommuting opportunity is available. The candidate’s main role will be to develop plugins, upgrade a Moodle site, and integrate it with a registry system. Spanish skills are presumably beneficial.
Occasional Moodle Work and Server Maintenance for Syworks
Syworks is seeking a candidate who can provide assistance on a variety of duties, from theme development to SSO authentication to plugins and third-party integrations. This jack of all trades can work remotely and should have encompassing experience that includes renderers and mustache templates.
