The Download Certificates Plugin allows students to access all their hard-earned certificates from a Moodle installation, and download them from a single page. It helps the tedious navigation between courses and sections to find each certificate, and serves as a backup in case student lose the certificates they have downloaded.
In addition to displaying all previously issued certificates, instructors can set the plugin so it serves as a repository for past students’ certificates. For the students, the plugin does not rehost the certificates. Instead, it saves the direct links to each course’s certificate. This means the plugin only works when a PDF version of the certificate exists on the Moodle server and has access permissions enabled for once-enrolled students. All of this features require the Certificate Module active in the Moodle installation.
Among the changes in the latest build there is a fix to a bug where a student could not access certificates from a course where they earned more than one.
Download Certificates is maintained by Manieer Chhettri, briton from Kent. The latest update replaces all previous ones, and is guaranteed to be compatible with Moodle 2.0 until 3.0. Chhettri apologizes for not having tested it for Moodle 3.1, but is open to a volunteer Moodler to verify and let him know.
