MoodlePosium Canberra 2016: What's Your Moodle Teaching Resolution?

For those of us who did not have enough with MoodleMoot Australia, we have the city of Canberra to the rescue. It’s time for MoodlePosium 2016!

Next December 5th and 6th, the University of Canberra is holding MoodlePosium, with a focus on higher education and VET (Virtual Environment Technologies). The theme of this year’s event is:

“What’s your teaching resolution?”

And will deal around three streams:

  1. Work smarter not harder
  2. Enhance engagement
  3. Innovate and experiment

The only confirmed speaker at the moment is Sue Gregory, Ph.D. Gregory is a Chair of Research and member of the ICT Education team at the School of Education, University of New England (Armidale). Her field of expertise is virtual worlds for learning.

MoodlePosium 2016 will take place at the University of Canberra’s Ann Harding Conference Centre. Call for Presentations is still open and first round of submissions will remain so until October 14th.

Early Bird registration for MoodlePosium has been extended until October 31st. At a price of AUD 350 (about USD 267 at the time of writing), it includes access to both days. Standard registration will be available until November 11th at AUD 400 or 200 for individual days. A Conference Diner for Monday, December 5th, at AUD 85, is not included in the rates above.
