The call for presentations is now open for the 2016 iMoot, which will be held from 5am on the 26th of May 2016 to 5am on the 29th May 2016 AWST (UTC+8). Click here if you are interested in submitting an idea for a presentation.
The expectation this year is that there will be 100 back-to-back presentations. While the iMoot format doesn’t offer some of the networking and community benefits associated with their physical kindred, the virtual and non-stop format does allow for a literal firehose of information for all attendees. And, if you’re super motivated, you can invest in the pre-and-post chatter in the forums for each presentation to connect and get any questions answered.
As noted on the site, there are usually about 300 people who attend the iMoot. That’s a serious audience to which you can pitch your ideas, successes, challenges and questions. And, bonus, if you are a presenter, your registration is free. (For everyone else, the iMoot costs $98 USD)
