We’re all anxiously awaiting the release of Moodle 3.1 and it is only a few weeks away. The folks over at Moodle HQ have entered into the quality assurance phase and, as recently posted by Helen Foster over on the forums, HQ is actively seeking out people to help with this process.
The testing covers everything about the new version of Moodle and includes all new features and improvements to the LMS. The good news is, just 24 hours after Helen posted this call, 20% (or 107 of 500) of the tests have already passed! Their goal is to have all testing completed in the next three weeks.
The most fun about being a tester is getting a sneak peak at 3.1. If you’d like to get involved here’s what you need to go:
- Check out the call on the forums here.
- Read over the QA testing guide here.
- Send Helen a message here to be added to the Tracker.
