Follow The Moodle Event Of The Year From Anywhere With The MoodleMoot Australia App

Australian app developer ShowGizmo has released a Moodle Community Events App. Just in time for MoodleMoot Australia, which will begin on Tuesday. The announcement was made through the official Moodle Twitter account.

The app, available for Android, iOS and Web, will show updated schedules, with dates and venues of the three days in Perth.

A “Speakers” section will show you basic information on the presenters and their talks. Martin Dougiamas, the creator of Moodle, is heading the event with his most anticipated presentation yet: The New Moodle. Joining him will be STEM + Arts advocate Melissa Silk and James Hamilton from Navitas as keynote speakers.

Through the app you can also stay on top on activities and mark them as favorites. You can fill out surveys and send feedback to the event organization.

But most important of all, the app will allow you to engage in the conversation that is a MoodleMoot. After all, the purpose of these global meets is:

“to start conversations, develop innovative ideas and collaborate on the future of education technology.”

The Moodle Community Events app is expected to remain active for the upcoming “Moots” in the coming months and next year. Stay tu
