This video highlights the differences between Moodle 2.6 and 2.8 and the usability improvements that were introduced in the newest release. The tour highlights the differences for the University of Minnesota but also gives a good sense of what a Moodle home page could look like with various new navigation elements, blocks, html areas and the standard Moodle blocks (like course overview).

Additionally the narrator shows how the myMoodle page can be customized and blocks can be moved around. The Course Overview block also is configured to display only those courses that are relevant to the student at a given time.
