UCLA Office of Information Technology is presenting the Mobility and Modern Web Conference this September 16-18 on the UCLA campus. While not a Moodle focused event, the conference will feature an all day workshop on IMS Global technologies such as LTI, Caliper, and CASA, each of which has extended Moodle to use all sorts of great tools (the former of which has been discussed here often).
The conference is focused on many of the things that Moodle is also working toward:
- usability
- mobile
- responsiveness
- interfaces
- app stores (adding LTI directly to courses more easily)
- interoperability
Conference attendance is discounted for UC staff and is available here http://mmwcon.org/auth/login. For more information about the conference check out mmwcon.org. Additional information on the IMS track is available here: http://goo.gl/TVh0.
