Rich media activity plugin is updated for Moodle 2.7 and 2.8 and is now supported for all Moodle versions from 2.0 onwards.
Rich Media activity plugin is a popular activity which provides a complete tool to create Rich Media activities onto Moodle. A rich media is a video content synchronized with your courseware (slides, pictures, tables, etc.).
With this module, two versions of a rich media player are given: a full-featured flash version and a simplified html5 version. Another tool is also provided to ease the synchronization of your courseware with the main video.

To create a rich media activity in your Moodle course, you have to:

  1. Upload your video in mp4, flv or ogv format,
  2. Upload your slides
  3. upload or create the synchronization file in .xml format
