Noticeboard course format has been updated to Beta version for Moodle 3.0 with TravisCI support and other changes.
In a recent announcement on Moodle Forums, the plugin maintainer Gareth J Barnard posted about the release of the new version of the Noticeboard course format.
Noticeboard is a topic based course format with the latest post in the news forum displayed at the top. It ensures that only the most relevant information is displayed on the course home page.
It was originally developed by Marty Jacobs for Moodle 1.9 and 2.0 and now it has been maintained by Gareth. In the new Beta version, the changes are as follows:

Post Pages - Post Inline - WIRIS
  • Make ‘print_noticeboard’ protected so it can be called by overriding classes.
  • First version for Moodle 3.0.
  • Add TravisCI support.

You can download the Noticeboard course format through this link. Here is a snapshot from my development site of the Noticeboard course format.
