Following the schedule for Major releases, Moodle 3.0, the upcoming version of the most popular LMS, will enter into the code freeze cycle on 05 Oct which means that it is ready to move into the QA testing, bug fixing and integration with the community.

The roadmap for Moodle 3.0 is as follows:

Post Pages - Post Inline - WIRIS
  • 3.0 Major new features are demoable: 28th September 2015
  • 3.0 Code freeze (no new features accepted): 5th October 2015
  • 3.0 QA begins (start of QA testing): 12th October 2015
  • 3.0 Release date (assuming all tests pass): 9th November 2015

All the developers please note that no new features will be accepted after October 5, 2015.
