Generico Filter has been updated to a new version compatible for Moodle 3.0 and having the ability to add more than 20 templates.
Generico Filter is developed by Justin Hunt and is a very popular plugin to create templates of code snippets and text that can be inserted into Moodle text areas.
To increase the number of templates you need to change the default template count in site admin -> plugins ->filters ->generico ->common settings to as much as you want. After that you need to visit the Site Notifications page to get them created.
You can download the latest version of the Generico filter from the Moodle Plugins database here –
Apart from the update to the filter, Justin has also posted a small guide to understand when and when not to use AMD in Generico templates, which can be accessed here.
Are you also using Generico filter in your Moodle course? What are the different templates which you had created with Generico? Do share with us in the comments below.
