On the heels of our post on Word Count for TinyMCE there’s now the same tool available for Atto Text Editor. Differing slightly from the TinyMCE plugin of the same name, Word count and character count are available through a button (rather than just displayed in the bottom bar of the text editor). Additionally Atto Word Count plugin it uses Moodle’s word count function to ensure that limits in an assignment or elsewhere will match up. . The plugin is maintained by Damyon Wiese.
