Bitnami is a handy and easy to use cloud installation service based on Amazon’s Web Services portfolio. It’s very easy to get started with Moodle (installation literally takes 5 clicks and only minutes). What’s even better is that now you can launch 10 one-hour demo servers of any software application they support, for free!

So, if you’re running Moodle 2.7.1 on your production site and are interested in installing a new plugin without any risk, the one-hour demo servers might be a good option. Hosting through Bitnami for a production server runs about $15.40 a month (2 cents an hour) for their most basic plan (probably only powerful enough for a few students) but their highly scalable options might be suitable for a production site with bigger pockets.
