First posted in the forums [link], the Quiz Edit page has received a prototype of how to add questions and manage your online assessments. You can now check it out http://prototype.moodle.net/questionediting/
What can you expect to have changed?
- visible page breaks and question grouping
- easy drag and drop ordering
- no page refresh when editing question point values (a personal pet peeve still in 2.7)
- modal windows for adding existing questions from a bank or as a random block
All in all I think it’s a step in the right direction. Check out the changes yourself at http://prototype.moodle.net/questionediting/ and share your thoughts in the Forum thread.
Thank you for highlighting this.
This change is absurd! The new modal pop-up for adding questions from existing question banks completely hides the quiz context and content, which is a useful information when we have to select a new one. Some bright developers tend to forget that we now have multi-window systems available, and alphanumerical terminals have been replaced by GUIs…..
