Another bit of Moodle Research Conference news, recently posted at Moodle.org is a call for “Working Group Proposals” for the 2014 event in Southern California.
A working group provides an opportunity to bring together experts and practitioners across institutions to pursue a well-defined set of research questions. The aim of such working groups is to further our understanding of the relationship of Moodle to learning and teaching goals. They are a great opportunity for experienced researchers to direct research and also for new researchers to become more active in the research community.

This is an opportunity for practitioners to test hypothesis and apply theory and practice across multiple institutions for research, all culminating (hopefully) with a published paper as an outcome. If you’re headed to California this summer for the 2014 MRC this might be a good opportunity to get some colleagues together for collaborative work.
Working group proposals are due 2/28/2014 at http://research.moodle.net/mod/data/view.php?id=81
