Moodle HQ Gears up for the 2014 Google Summer of Code #GSOC2014


Helen Foster at Moodle HQ recently announced Moodle’s involvement in the 10th annual Google Summer of Code. GSOgsoc-2014-600x540C pairs student developers with open source projects and mentors, and pays a summer stipend to help them learn coding in an internship style position. This is Moodle’s 8th year of involvement.

Last year students were involved in building all sorts of cool features into Moodle including self-assessment activity, a SCORM player update, global search and course search enhancements, portfolio plugin for Evernote and more. The full 2013 project list can be found at
