HowtoMoodle, a Moodle Partner in the UK has recently announced the launch of “PayforCourses” a new ecommerce solution for allowing registration and enrollment through a more streamlined checkout process. In addition to easily syncing courses from your site to the service, it also uses embeddable code to provide the front end (eliminating the need for you to create a new site just for ecommerce). In addition it allows bundling of courses, discounts, automatic enrollment and unenrollment based on course attributes and much more.

The solution seems light years beyond the standard Paypal enrollment plugin (which, speaking from experience, can be a bit onerous for the new online student). No pricing is yet released but interested individuals can check out for a demo.
