Here’s a 10 minute video from the Sloan Consortium ( that showcases two options for integrating other content into a Moodle forum (or any where the text editor is available). Note that depending on your course or site filters you might get a little bit of a different functionality (for example, the Youtube filter–when enabled–will automatically embed for you) and to embed you’ll need to make sure that embedding tags are enabled for your site as well []. In this example the narrator embeds a Popplet asset, a presentation from Brainshark, and a few other examples.
