If you’re planning on the iMoot this year you have until Sunday to purchase the discounted registration price (save $15 off the full price). Early bird registration ends on 3/31 (Sunday) and there after goes up to $80 AUD.
Additionally the call for papers/presentations ends simultaneously, so if you have something to say about openness in Moodle, whether a pilot you did, a study you undertook or a project you are planning to work on you can submit an abstract to be considered as one of the presenters. This year’s iMoot theme is “Open” according to the site.
So much can come from one word and we see this one in particular having very strong ties with Moodle. What do we mean by this? Think of open education, open communities, open courseware, open licensing, open source and more. The list goes on. At it’s core however we see “OPEN” is about collaboration, sharing and removing barriers. Each of these are at the core of what Moodle is all about.

Hope to see you there.
