Here’s a quick video from Grant Harbor (@Grant_Harbor) of SCIL who shows us how to clean up a Moodle by changing a resource already created in Moodle to pretty much any type of Moodle activity. The tip, while simple, is a great tool which can help you reduce the number of links and resources available to your students. It’s a great way overall to prevent the “scroll of death” and to minimize links but still provide robust, contextualized activities and resources to students as they work through your course.
Simple and effective.
There’s a great post that this video was embedded in as well which you might like to read in full: Learning behind the “Scroll of Death” – A Moodle Evolution.
