For Moodle 2.1 and 2.0, the releases bring a few new features and fixes, the most notable perhaps extends and improves the multi-language filter in Moodle. Moodle 1.9’s release affects mostly security and bugs. The next major release is scheduled for December 2011 which will be Moodle 2.2.
