This presentation highlights the internal road-map for moving Open University‘s enormous Moodle installation to 2.1.  The presentation is by Ross MacKenzie and highlights the current status of Open University’s daily usage and stats and some of the considerations they are being forced to make as they move forward and toward an upgrade.  One of the most interesting tidbits gleaned from the presentation is that they no longer believe that there will be a performance lag compared to Moodle 1.9 (this was a major concern for institutions considering a jump from Moodle 1.9 to 2.0+ this past spring.
