Frankie Kam has posted a few free and open courses to his school’s Moodle site (http://scm.moodleace.com). To access the courses you’ll need to register (which is free) and once confirmed you’ll have access to the various free resources for Moodle 1.9 and can also download the backup files.
A few courses shared were not created by Frankie and are available elsewhere, but there is a CC licensed course created by him titled: “Movie and Video Editing” [link].
The course offers content in three parts, including an in depth walk-through for MovieMaker (Microsoft), introductions to other pieces of software used in the course, and finally how to create individual video elements for polishing your final product.
If you or your students are interested in video production, snagging a copy of this course backup file might provide a great jump off for a course.
